An artist and designer, Luba Lukova creates images that she hopes will catalyze action and change the world. Her thought-provoking posters address essential themes of humanity and injustice worldwide. Her messages help viewers develop empathetic understanding for social and cultural issues through indelible metaphors and an economy of line, color, and text.
"Simple yet profound... clever yet accessible." –NPR
"Striking social commentary and imaginative renderings shockingly simple in their design." –Creative Loafing
"Lukova's work has the ability to open up a dialogue. Her images are such that they make us talk to one another..."
–Laura Flusche, Executive Director, Museum of Design Atlanta
