A collection of Luba Lukova's posters created for the legendary Living Theatre is on view at SESC Consolação cultural center in São Paulo as part of the exhibition Living Theatre, Presente!
Lukova began her collaboration with the theatre's founder Judith Malina back in 1994 and since then has designed the posters for the company's productions in the U.S. and Europe. "Luba Lukova has a unique ability to convey a political and social message – with the techniques of high art, so that everyone seeing it can comprehend and be enlightened by it," Judith Malina said.
Lukova will present a talk and lead a workshop at SESC Consolação in São Paulo, January 11 – 13.
