The Fête du graphisme in Paris, France has commissioned Luba Lukova to create an original poster inspired by the City of Lights. Her poster will be on view on the streets all over Paris from January 8 to February 18, and on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées from January 22 to February 5 as part of the exhibition Célébrer Paris.
Three of Lukova's prints, Brainwashing, Censorship, and Chernobyl, Fukushima..., will be also on view at Les Docks, Cité de la Mode et du Design in the the exhibition Paris invite le monde, on display until February 2. The international show features some the most important poster designers working today.
Lukova's work, presented at both exhibitions, will become part of the City of Paris’ Municipal Collection of Contemporary Art.
